Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry designed to help people affected by hurts (emotional reactions to another's behaviors), hang-ups (negative mental attitudes that are used to cope with people or adversity such as anger, fear, anxiety and depression) and habits (a craving for something, or a preoccupation that may grow for someone or something. Sometimes it even develops into a compulsion or addiction.)
We focus on healing through spiritual growth and setting people onto a path toward recovery. The ministry combines the 8 principles found in the Beatitudes and the 12-steps. Weekly teaching and testimony, coupled with the application of Biblical principles, results in freedom promised through Jesus Christ.
If you have tried without success to free yourself, come trade it all in for peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a circle to friends who will share your heavy load.

King's Kitchen

King's Kitchen is very vital to our church and community. A free hot meal is availible to all who are in need. It is a service provided by Akron Springfield Assembly of God to help those in the community and surrounding areas who may be in need of assistance, A meal is served once a month and groceries and/or clothing provided throughout the year
